Our Team

With a passion for developing and constructing quality projects, Gene began GVD Companies nearly 30 years ago. He has developed, designed, constructed, and managed many types of projects during that time including multi-family, residential, commercial office, commercial retail, and industrial. Gene oversees the operations of GVD Companies working closely with our Team leaders to bring a superior product to our markets as well as building the future of our companies. As the developer, builder, and owner of each of our projects, Gene takes pride in making sure every project is completed and maintained to the highest quality standards. Gene’s mission for GVD is to provide a quality housing product and fill a need for luxury rental communities in underutilized markets.

As CFO for GVD Companies, Victoria oversees the financing and accounting support services teams. She works closely with financial institutions and accounting firms to manage all financial activities. Victoria brings over 25 years’ experience of sales, management, and executive leadership to her role with GVD Companies having owned and operated a successful Independent Insurance Agency for over 20 years. The agency was sold to a long-time employee in 2019 so Victoria could focus solely on the Development and Construction businesses and take on the role of CFO.

Jeff began with GVD Companies in 2012 as an Assistant Superintendent quickly transitioning to Senior Project Manager and is now heavily involved with the GVD Real Estate Development Team. As Jeff has grown within GVD, he has acquired extensive knowledge of HUD 221(d)4 loans and is now leading our Consulting services to guide borrowers and contractors through the HUD 221(d)4 development and construction process to help them secure all the benefits associated with HUD financing.

Evette began working with GVD in 2016 and has many years' experience in property management, accounting, and office management. With her experience in property management, Evette easily took on the role of Asset Manager for all of the GVD properties coordinating with the property management company as well as the construction team to facilitate the post construction transition as well as ongoing improvements and maintenance at the properties. Evette also works as a Project Manager facilitating budgeting and scheduling with the field team, vendors, and contractors.

Jignesh (JD) began with GVD Companies in 2021 as a Project Manager overseeing multiple multifamily projects. He works closely with the General Superintendent to make sure all GVD projects currently under construction are running smoothly, within budget, and on schedule. JD is currently managing several projects totaling over $100 million. JD is responsible for Preconstruction meetings, project bidding and budgeting, purchasing materials and scheduling delivery, AOC meetings, reviewing and approving draw requests, preparing draw requests, contractor and vendor relationships, and project close outs. Prior to joining GVD Companies, JD worked in the construction industry as a project engineer, senior project engineer, and an owner’s representative. JD believes “Growth is the process of life” and is excited for the challenges and growth he will have as a part of GVD Companies.

Ron joined the GVD Team as the General Superintendent in 2021. Ron brings over 35 years’ experience in the construction arena with a background that includes residential, commercial, and multifamily. Ron has worked with some of the nation’s largest developers in the DFW, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and El Paso areas. Ron has a passion for the field and works closely with all of the field project teams, trade partners, design teams, and GVD Management to ensure that GVD builds to the highest quality standards while ensuring that all projects are operated safely.
